2006-2007 INAUGURAL (AND EXAUGURAL) SEASON The Feldman Dynamic, the self-proclaimed #1 Performance Art Family in the United States of America (and Orlando Weekly-reader proclaimed 2nd Best Theater Troupe in Orlando), is dynamicized to announce that they are jumping into the fray and presenting a Central Florida-based season of theatrical experimentation which will inevitably be of interest only to daring, eclectic and fearless audiences (who know who they are). The Feldman Dynamic, comprised of real life family members Adrienne Feldman, Brian Feldman, Edward Alan Feldman and Marilyn Wattman-Feldman, first premiered their reality theater experience on August 9, 2003 at FringeNYC (The New York International Fringe Festival). Since then, this critically acclaimed performance art piece has been seen in various incarnations by bewildered audiences few and far between, heard on Central Floridas renowned college radio station WPRK 91.5 and even serves as the basis for a feature length screenplay written by Brian Feldman, the conceptualizer and director of the troupe, recently under consideration for Robert Redfords prestigious Sundance Screenwriters Lab. The Feldman Dynamics 2006-2007 Inaugural (and Exaugural) Season features a total of 8 unique evenings in all. What will happen? Who knows? There is no script and every installment is completely different, save for a pre-show video before select presentations - the 1950 mental hygiene classic, A Date with Your Family. ![]() Conceived, Produced and Directed by Brian Feldman presented in the Marilyn and Sig Goldman Theater at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center in Orlando Loch Haven Park 812 E. Rollins St. Orlando, FL 32803-1203 [MAP] Running Time Approximately 45 Minutes. Putting the Huh? in Hanukkah, The Feldman Dynamic returns for a third year of real-time Festival of Lights celebrations. This time, it starts with an H, as opposed to a C; Chanukah. This 2000 year old holiday features such unhealthy traditions as making and eating fatty foods fried in oil - latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiot (jelly donuts), playing a game of chance known as dreidel and, most significantly, lighting the menorah (a nine branched candelabra). We assure you, its like no other show in town! Oy vey, is it a recipe for fun! - Michelle Yoffee-Beard, Seminole Chronicle |
